A late Neolithic stone circle, spectacularly sited on a high ridge overlooking the Cotswold Hills and Evenlode Valley.

The stones consist of three monuments, the Kings Men, Kings Stone and the Whispering Knights, spanning nearly 2,000 years.

Man's presence in the area stretches back to at least 6000BC, which helps explain the eerie atmosphere.

There is a tradition that says the circle of Kings Men cannot be accurately counted - try it!
