A village notable for its restored cruciform St Clement’s church built on a hill overlooking the Little Minch and the Sound.
The church dates from 1500 and was built by the 8th MacLeod chief as a chapel, and has a fine MacLeod tomb built in 1528.
It also has a sculptured square tower, some Celtic decoration and a carved arch. It was restored by the Countess of Dunsmore in 1873.
