Picnics welcome in grounds; dogs on leads only. Disabled parking 150m from entrance via rough path alternative parking available for disabled visitors beside admission point. Access to Abbey and grounds: access for wheelchair users to main part of ruins over smooth grass, but not to south side of monument across stream seats provided.
Roche Abbey is a Site of Special Scientific Interest there are many bird and animal sounds and four waterfalls (note) visitors should beware of many low walls. Tape tour with hearing loop included in admission price. Shop has easy access museum displays at eye level for wheelchair users.
