River Garnock (Gairneag / Abhainn Ghairneig)
About a mile and a half south of Clyde Muirshiel Regional Park, the stream tumbles over the Spout of Garnock, the highest waterfall in Ayrshire. The river then continues from here, through the towns of Glengarnock, Dalry and Kilwinning for a total length of 20 miles (32 km) to its confluence with the River Irvine at Irvine Harbour
