URPoint Details
Two streams meet to form the large River Forth with its 116 miles winding its way from Aberfoyle east past Stirling to the Firth of Forth and entering the North Sea.
There are some lovely little islands in the river including May Island, Bass Rock, Inchkeith and Incholm.
The principal ports are Leith, Methil and Grangemouth.
