URPoint Details
The two villages known as Superior and Inferior follow an underground stream which runs through the villages, and passes right through Hamlyn House, originally a mill in the 17th century is now a fascinating pub.
Lovely timber-framed buildings some with thatch, line the village street.
There are two churches both named St Mary's church.
The Upper church has been closed for many years but is well worth a visit.
The Lower church with its round Norman tower dates from the 13th century.
