The gardens are accessible and there is a recommended wheelchair route through the garden available from the entrance. However, please note that some areas – such as the Rock Garden – are not fully accessible due to the nature of the garden. Assistance dogs are welcome in all areas of the garden and buildings. Entry is provided for two carers free of charge accompanying visitors whose disability necessitates their support.

This is where experiments are undertaken for the Royal Horticulture Society and surround the village. The gardens were established in 1904 with a gift of 60 acres to replace the Society's research station which had been in use at Chiswick for over 80 years

The property now covers over 300 acres 150 are garden and 6 acres are used for vegetable trials the rest is farm and woodland.
here is a great variety of trees, shrubs and plants, many are rare and look spectacular in spring and late autumn.
