Rendlesham Hall although demolished after the Second World War, still has three gatehouses, two of special interest.
Ivy Lodge near Tunstall is a sham ruin meant to look as if built in the 13th century, actually was built in 1790.
Woodbridge Lodge, built at the same time has a central chimney disguised by three heavy buttresses. The central room is hexagonal.
The Church dedicated to St Gregory the Great dates from the 14th and 15th centuries.
