URPoint Details
The church is the oldest building still standing in the village and dates from 1166, when Simon de Beauchamp, the Norman baron of Bedford Castle, included it among the 14 churches with which he endowed the newly founded Newnham Priory.
The church has an interesting king-post roof structure with an off-centre chancel arch.
