URPoint Details
St Helen's Church Tower is worth the climb to the top as the views are magnificent overlooking the Broads.
The inside of this delightful church offers some very rare treasures. The most treasured item is the Sarum Antiphoner dated 1400 which contains verses of the Psalms arranged for part singing (not on display naturally but is proudly shown on request).
The church remains an active parish church and is a Grade I listed building.
The lectern dated 1500 is another wonderful attraction where one panel is of an eagle and part of the Gospel of St John and on the other panel is that of a medieval verse.
