URPoint Details
A high, wild expanse of heather in the northwest of the county and covering about twenty square miles with lochs and peaty pool.
Ideal walks starting from either Rannoch Station or Kinghouse Inn at the head of Glencoe and Glen Etive should only be tackled if the weather permits as the track is boggy and the ground can be treacherous in places.
The largest of the lochs is Lydoch (or Laidon) and Ba are famous for trout.
