An extraordinary mass of towers and pinnacles into which cattle were driven during forays.
A very rough track (not suitable for the elderly or infirm) zigzags up to the Needle, an imposing obelisk 120ft high.
Beyond the Needle, in a large amphitheatre, stands the Table, a huge grass-covered rock mass.
There are some amazing views from there.
