URPoint Details
Situated on the waterfront this is the oldest building in Clifden dating from 1820. It was the Harbour Master's House, then a Convent, then a Fransiscan Monastery before becoming a hotel.
The 14 rooms are tastefully furnished with antiques and the atmosphere is relaxed. There are two ground-floor bedrooms, one of which is fully wheelchair accessible as are all of the public rooms.
The meals are delicious and there is a table licence. Fishing of course is on the doorstep, golf and horseriding are available locally.
There are many places in the beautiful Connemara region waiting to be explored.
