URPoint Details
Church of St Mary and the Holy Cross sits at the eastern end of the main street and is a Decorated and Perpendicular style building. The church is noted for its very large collection of 17th and 18th century monuments. One monument dating from 1350 is that of Richard Brett who helped translate the Bible. Part of the painted rood screen also survives.
