A magnificent Early English church dominates the village. There is a 15th century pulpit and an ancient bucket-shaped font.
There are several charming half-timbered houses including the 15th century Porch House which may have been either a church or inn or even both.
The Church of St Mary dating from the 13th century with restoration in 1872 by Ewan Christian, it is described as "pure Early English. The beautiful central tower is 14th century and later and there are two medieval fonts, one is an ancient bucket shape. There is a 15th century pulpit and a carved Dole Stone and an organ dating back to 1723. Grade I listed
