'Hamish McBeth country', the drive around the coast is by way of very narrow roads but beautiful all the same. Try it in winter over Benn Raimh! Certainly not for the faint hearted, but well worth the drive to visit the charming village on the lochside.
Plockton is part of the Balmacara Estate and sits so nicely on the shores of Loch Carron with views to the Applecross and Torridon mountains to the north.
