A small garden and woodland, overlooking the west shore of Port Neigwl (Hell's Mouth Bay) on the Llyn Peninsula. There has been a garden on this site since about 1800, but the present garden dates from about the late 19th century and was replanted in the 1940s, after a long period of neglect. The garden is divided into many sections by box hedges of varying heights and planted mainly with flowering shrubs and trees, ranging from the most ordinary cottage garden plants to the rare and subtropical.
