There is a platform lift at the main entrance from the Museum of Natural History for wheelchair and pushchair users. There is also level access into the Museum via the South Entrance on Robinson Close. Other facilities include a lift to all floors, infrared hearing support systems (at reception, in the shop and in the lecture theatre) and an adapted toilet and baby change facility. The Museum welcomes visitors with assistance animals. All assistance animals to be on a lead where possible and expect them to not wander freely throughout the Museum; all animals wear a harness or jacket whilst in the Museum to help identify them to staff and visitors.
World famous anthropology collection, in a unique Victorian setting, includes jewellery, weaponry, textiles, toys, head-hunting trophies, masks and musical instruments.
