Pitlochry - (Baile Chloichridh)
A delightful Victorian town nestling in the heart of Highland Jacobite country and is set in some of the most beautiful countryside, at the foot of Ben Nevis, the highest mountain in Great Britain.
The town hosts some great entertainment from a Highland Night on Summer Mondays when visitors can enjoy pipe bands, Scottish music and Highland Dancing.
Each Thursday in the Town Hall there is a variety show, and the famous Pitlochry Games are held on the second Saturday in September where you can enjoy watching the tossing of the caber, Highland Dancing and massed pipe bands.
