An attractive hamlet near the River Almond, surrounded by cottages, houses and tree is the semi-circular green, Lord Lynedoch created the hamlet to house his mill workers.
To the west lies Lynedoch Wood with the graves of Bessie Bell and Mary Gray who came here in 1645 to avoid the Perth plague.
