Members of the club compete in a 100-yard race which started in 1864. Starts 8.30am. Where to be on Christmas Day! Swimming in the icy waters of the Serpentine Lake in Hyde Park, where swimmers take part in the annual traditional 100-yard (91-metre) race. The novelist J.M. Barrie donated the first Peter Pan Cup in 1904
