The Church of St Andrew is a medieval building with Norman origins, rebuilt about 1720. There are fragments of 15th century glass, 17th and 18th century font, pulpit and brass chandelier. The tower is constructed in red sandstone rubble Its lower part originally served a defensive purpose, being built with thick walls, no buttresses, very small windows, and no entrance
