Parson Drove St John the Baptist (Cambridgeshire Historic Churches Trust).
This fine Grade II* Listed Fenland church is well worth the detour. The noble nave arcades and the west tower, with its superb stone-panelled arch and vaulted ceiling, are 15th century. The north aisle has a 13th century doorway and 14th century windows. The south aisle was largely rebuilt about 1800 and that the chancel was destroyed by a flood in 1613. There is a Perpendicular octagonal font, a pulpit of 1677, large clear windows with medieval glass in the tracery and at every turn, delightful carved medieval faces. The churchyard has some notable carved gravestones.
