Parliament House - Edinburgh

Free admission; restaurant. All public areas are accessible by wheelchair. This includes guided tours and the public galleries.

Built between 1632 and 1639, this was the seat of Scottish Government until 1707, when the governments of Scotland and England were united.

Now the Supreme Law Courts of Scotland, Parliament Hall has a fine hammer beam roof and portraits by Raeburn and other major artists.
