An Elizabethan mansion carefully restored and retaining its character.

From the 17th century to the early 1920's it was owned by the Byshops, and there are a number of portraits commemorating them on show.

The Great Hall, with unusually tall mullioned windows and a fine plastered ceiling, the long gallery is 158ft long and 18ft wide.
There are more than 300 other paintings on display along with fine period furniture, china, carpets, tapestries and fine needlework.

In the grounds of Parham House stands St Peter's Church, a basically perpendicular building restored and redecorated in the Gothic style of the 19th century. The lead font dates from the 14th century.
