URPoint Details
A pretty town with crooked streets sloping to down to the harbour on the Camel River estuary and where St Petroc supposedly founded a monastery in the 6th century.
Some of the houses date from the 15th century and on South Quay is the 16th century house that Sir Walter Raleigh stayed when he was Warden of Cornwall.
