URPoint Details
Oyster Castle is a delightful ivy clad ruin, the earlier castle was burned and the present ruins are of the Decorated style.
The east window with its tracery restored is an interesting feature.
The main entrance shows portcullis grooves into which a wooden portcullis had been inserted.
The keep has a chapel in which the piscine remains. A path still runs round the top of the castle walls.
