URPoint Details
Attractive cottages and wide green verges make Oving, a near neighbour of North Marston, one of the loveliest villages in the District. Of interest is the local pub with its massive beams.
Oving House, although built in the 17th century, was remodelled twice in the next century.
The church is mainly 13th century and was extensively restored by Street in 1867. Its east window's tracery, the carved Perpendicular screen and the carved bench ends are of interest.
