URPoint Details
A pleasant seaside village was once a fishing port. Crab fishing is still carried on and many of the locals are descendants of the original fishermen.
There are some beautiful flint cottages in the village and some of the impressive buildings were once owned by
millionaires.
Overstrand Hall next to the church was designed by Edwin Lutyens who also designed ‘The Pleasaunce’ a large house on the cliffs.
