URPoint Details
The village lies in the pretty Itchen valley on the main Southampton to Winchester road. The church contains 17th century Flemish altar rails and in the churchyard is a cross to John Keble who once lived here.
Cranberry Park is a splendid 18th century house standing on older foundations of a priory. There are still remains of a Roman encampment in the garden as well as a mock ruin built from some of the material from Netley Abbey.
