Situated on the shores of Loch Linnhe looking towards the Ardgour hills among which Garbh Bheinn stands at 2,903ft is an outstanding feature.
Near the pier is a perforated monolith known as Clach a’Charra.
To the north the Amhainn Righ Burn on which there are beautiful waterfalls, which flow into Loch Linnhe.
