This delightful Victorian fantasy garden set in 10 acres is reputed to be one of the top 10 gardens in the country. The 19th century ironwork bridges, arches, creepers, ferns and grotto surround the central tiny thatched Swiss Cottage. The rose arbour, trees and shrubs have been collected from all over the world and with the magnificent flowers in season make this a really worthwhile day out. The walks through the 11 acres of mixed woodland and around the lake are lovely and the picnic area is delightful by the lake.
