The house, built in 1660, now has rooms furnished in period style to illustrate life in Dumfries over the centuries.
Rooms include kitchens of 1850 and 1900, a Victorian nursery and a dental laboratory dating from 1900.
Devorgilla’s Bridge was originally built by Lady Devorgilla Balliol, who endowed Balliol College, Oxford.
