URPoint Details
A market town in the heart of Devon, with two of the moors highest points High Willhays and Yes Tor both over 2,000ft not far away.
The site was occupied in the Iron Age, the Saxons were also here and both have left remnants of their past, but most of the town was founded by the Normans.
