Three-mile section of the great earthwork built by Offa, King of Mercia between 757-96. Stretching from the Severn estuary to the Welsh coast, it was the defensive boundary to his kingdom. This section is in lovely walking country and is part of the Offa's Dyke long-distance footpath.
