Grounds accessible all year, no access to mosaic. Pedestrian access only from main road (550 metres). Entry free no dogs allowed.

In a pleasant wooded valley, you will find the remains of this large and well built Roman courtyard villa.
It is an excellent example of a Roman 'country family' in the 4th century, with an elaborate courtyard originally containing over 60 rooms. The most important feature is an almost complete mosaic floor, intricately patterned in reds and browns.
