URPoint Details
An inscription outside the east window of the Church of St Firmin gives a rare testimony to the rebuilding of the chancel in the late 13th century. The 13th century tower becomes decorated at the top. Inside, the early 14th century north arcade faces the 13th century South arcade with the variation of one arch less. Of the Perpendicular period, note the windows, clerestory and its fine painted screen. Further distinctive features are the box pews and the 17th century font cover.
