In this narrow inlet of St Bride's Bay, high cliffs shelter a farm, a chapel, a few sleepy cottages and a sandy beach which is exposed only at low tide.
A tradition associated with this coastline is the collection of seaweed for the making of laver bread, best eaten with bacon or, some say, with porridge.
