Newton Green - Saracens

The Saracens Head is partly Tudor and has a large mounting stone where travellers are thought to have changed horses on their way to east coast ports.
The inside is a very cosy, typically English pub with delightful seating around the huge fireplace. The bar meals are excellent and reasonably priced.
