St Mary's Church, (Historic Churches Trust) is a charming little flint church, close to the east bank of the Thames can be reached by a path from Wallingford Bridge which leads on to Mongewell. Built in the 12th and 13th centuries, its Norman origins can be seen in the north doorway and chancel arch, the medieval roofs and 17th century pulpit and communion table are all that is left after restoration in the late 18th century.
