Car park free. Trams run every few minutes through beautiful Period Street and up and on to open countryside. Wheelchair access, with ramps to all areas.
This Tram Museum is a must to experience with double-deckers, single-deckers, horse drawn, steam and vintage trams.
Collection of about 50 trams dating from 1873-1953 and have all been carefully restored and come from South Africa, Prague, Portugal, New York and Yorkshire. The Museum shop offers a variety of gifts, souvenirs and books and the Library and Photographic Archives holds an extensive collection of books, journals, drawings and photographs covering tramway systems world-wide.
