URPoint Details
A quaint Scottish country inn - at its best dating back to the 1800's. This listed building was originally a small farmhouse where the blacksmith of the area lodged and tended to travellers' horses, carts and carriages.
Offering traditional comfort and value for money with award nominated, home cooked, country cuisine served at sensible prices in its popular Maltings restaurant. A choice of Scottish wines, real ales and malt whiskies available, in addition to the inn's own branded beers and ciders. You are in for a real treat when you visit either the Mash Tun Bar with its original hand-crafted gantry and hand-etched ornamental glass, or the The Snug Wee Still Lounge with its own original 'wee whisky' making still.
Situated in the historical town of Kinross, this well appointed inn is great for sporting and touring, with all Scotland's cities and 120 golf courses within driving distance, plus local trout fishing on Loch Leven with walking and pony trekking in the surrounding hills.
It's ideal and the inn is really - simply something special.
Special rates apply for winter and short breaks.
