Open November to mid-March, daily 9am-5.30pm. Mid-March to June, daily 9am-6pm. July & August, daily 9am-7pm. September & October, daily 9am-6pm. Last admission 45mins before closing. A magnificent Victorian mansion and one of Ireland’ leading stately homes. Elegantly furnished rooms depict the lifestyles of the gentry, whilst downstairs in the basement one can witness what it would have been like to be a servant here. The gardens are renowned for their beauty and colour all year round. In particular is the fine collection of azaleas and rhododendrons, the beautiful water garden and the outstanding rock garden carved out of natural limestone.
