Disabled parking 160m from entrance up uneven grass track disabled visitors may park at the side of the abbey, near the abbot's house (please take care not to inconvenience the farmer by blocking his driveway). Access to Abbey and grounds via one shallow step at entrance limited access to ground floor stairs to upper floor are uneven and steep grounds accessible on paved paths, though grass is uneven benches provided. Large display of carves stones which may be touched. Wall footings may be hazardous. Toilets, inside monument, unadapted and not accessible to wheelchair users (one shallow step). Shop has easy access, snacks available.
Well preserved remains of the cloisters, with windows carved in golden stone, and abbot's lodging of the Benedictine abbey, which survived by being used as a farmhouse after the Dissolution.
