Mount Stuart - Rothesay

Mount Stuart has a working lift which can fit a standard sized wheelchair for access to the upper floors. The paths in the gardens are a mixture of gravel, whin dust and grass. Please be aware that many of the paths towards the shore line are steep and may be unsuitable for pushchairs or wheelchairs

The ancestral home of the Marquis of Bute, this Victorian Gothic mansion, has splendid interiors of marble and glass.

The mature Victorian pinetum, arboretum, exotic gardens and waymarked walks are well worth exploring.
