URPoint Details
The village is made up from seven hamlets and is dotted with trees of weird shapes formed by the Atlantic gales which lash this part of the coast. To the south is the Elizabethan Tonacombe manor house.
The Church of St John the Baptist is part Norman and has some interesting stone carvings of men and beasts in the porch, and 15th century carved bench-ends.
