URPoint Details
A small market town with some fine old buildings including the two-storied almshouses which dates from 1637.
The River Teign flows from its source on Dartmoor to the east of the town.
Cranbrook Castle, to the northwest are the remains of an Iron Age hillfort, 1100ft above the River Teign.
