Founded 1909, this 18 hole course has hosted the Ryder Cup and many other national events. It is famous for the incident in the 1974, Brabazon Trophy when Nigel Denham overclubbed at the last hole and found his golf ball in the clubhouse bar. He then chipped through an open window back on to the green!
