Montrose Golf Links

Founded in 1562, it is thought that the Marquis of Montrose, a well known devotee of the game in the 16th century, was responsible for golf developing on the Angus links. Today the town has two 18 hole courses, with the medal course a classic that has been host to many Scottish championships.

The 1562 course is a par 71, 6,585 yards 18 hole that will challenge even the most skilled golfers with deep bunkers, springy turf, sand dunes and fantastic greens.

Equipment is available to hire, best to ring in advance to make sure they have on the day whatever you need.
