A small village house and garden, the home of Leonard and Virginia Woolf from 1919 until Leonard's death in 1969.
The garden is much the same as it was in the Woolfs' time. Near the house yew hedges, paths and flintstone walls from an old piggery frame the formal herbaceous areas.
The orchard leads to the bowling green and dew pond. The garden house where Virginia used to work still contains her writing desk and a display of photographs with extracts from her diaries and letters.
